I am fed up.

I have received knitlists and socknitters lists sporadically at best for the past month. I unsubscribed and resubscribed. I e-mailed the moderators. I checked my bounce history. I called my ISP and they claimed they would set the spam-filter so it would allow Yahoogroups traffic in. (and this is the third time I have called them on this issue).

I am receiving spam, but no mailing lists.

I am guessing it has to be Yahoogroups fault, and there's not a bleddy thing I can do about it. I assume they want me to sign up for yahoo mail, and have the digests sent there.

this is very annoying. I can't stand it when things go wrong and they are totally out of my hands, and there is nothing I can do (other than keep on calling and complaining) to fix them.

the fact that another major thing about my life (the tenure decision) is out of my hands now, and I am just waiting to hear, just adds to the headbanging frustration.

Yes, I know, I can read the lists on the yahoogroups site but I. Shouldn't. Have. To.
