Didn't do a whole lot this weekend, but I guess that's OK. I did decorate the place for Christmas, including buying a rosemary-trimmed-in-the-shape-of-a-Christmas-tree at the Lowe's, without really thinking about how I have three houseplant waterers and already have three water-demanding houseplants that won't make it more than a week without a watering. Oh well. Perhaps I can give it to someone before I leave for Christmas break.

I also finished knitting the fronts of the Fur vest. I don't quite have the energy to weave in the ends and mattress-stitch the seams right yet. Also, when it comes to putting in the zipper, I think I am going to defer to my mother's knowledge when she is here over Thanksgiving.

I'm contemplating what to start next (never mind that I have three socks and a complex lace shawl on the needles, plus the crocheted "Open Season" scarf and a quilt in the frame). I'm thinking about pulling out the kit for the "Prairie Stripes" Lion Brand afghan I got a Christmas or two ago and starting it. (Partly so my parents can see, when they visit me, "hey, I do make the kits I ask for for Christmas! See? See?")
