Well, the proposal I wrote and then thought the program had been eliminated for is back on track. The program still exists but budget hoo-has has delayed the call for proposals going out.

the good news is the deadline isn't until December now. The bad news is that means it will be that much longer until we find out if the proposal was successful. At least I can still submit it. Even if it's not successful, it's evidence I'm trying.

I knit for a while on the sleeves of the Circus pullover last night, while watching the first episode of "Navy NCIS," which I think I will like. (there are precious few shows that I bother to watch any more). I'm still trying to wrap my head around that the actor who plays "Ducky" is the same guy who was "Ilya Kuriakin" in "Man From U.N.C.L.E."
