Well, it looks like I got me an end-of-summer cold.

My throat is killing me. Thank goodness it was class-activity day in general bio (modeling how enzymes work) so I didn't have to talk much.

I'm waiting on the congestion and the sneezing, that's the next step.

I haven't got any further on the pink and green quilt - both Tuesday and yesterday I was so tired when I got home (plus yesterday I had to bake a cake for AAUW tonight, and I had papers to grade) that I just sat and knitted on the Circus pullover. Didn't get much done, either.

Now I am writing an exam for ecology for next week.

For me, colds are more miserable if I stay home in bed - I get bored, I get antsy, I feel bad that I've cancelled class. I wish I could get colds without being contagious because I do feel guilty coming to work and exposing other people to the bug. (But since I probably caught it from someone here, I guess other people do it too).

I just hope I don't get extreme laryngitis like I did last fall. Then I will have to cancel class.
