Little help?

Does anyone know a way (a way not involving chlorine bleach) to remove Sharpie ink from a light colored denim cloth?

I dropped a Sharpie while doing lap prep and it landed in my lap. I now have a green line across the skirt of one of my favorite jumpers. Sigh.
