Okay, so I'm always the last to have a chance to check out these things (my insane work schedule, grumble grumble) but I did take a few minutes and look at Knitty this morning.

I loooooooove the fox stole. I really like the sweater Bonne Marie designed. I really like the fact that several designers suggested various different yarns that will work for their designs. (That is something too few people do - they pick some esoteric yarn I can't find, or that is way to pricey for me, and don't suggest any alternatives).

Yup, Amy, there's room in the world for a magazine like this.
Knitty is cool. Long live Knitty.
This evening, once I get home, several of the patterns are being printed out and placed in my fat notebook of "free off the Web" patterns for future reference.


(I'd like to submit something but it says the designs have to be hip and I fear I'm not hip enough. I'm not even sure the socks I design are hip enough. Oh well. I'm willing to accept that my talents lie in other areas.)
