Didn't do a whole lot this weekend.
Friday, I went to McKinney, Texas, and did some shopping. Ate a piece of chocolate-chip pie. Bought 5 yards of white cotton for the variable-star quilt I am going to make. Bought a food mill. Wandered around a lot of nice upscale shops and wished there were some closer to me.
Saturday, I spent the morning cleaning house. I still have to do the bathroom, and the kitchen counters and living room floor will need touching up before my meeting on Thursday.
I also finished cutting all the pieces for the pieced border on the Provence quilt and began sewing the pieces together. The pattern is out of a Quilter's Newsletter Magazine from a little over a year ago. The pattern is called "Crossroads to Jericho" (A picture of the pattern as interpreted by another quilter is here; I used gold, green, and purple, mostly, in fabrics with grape, chicken, landscape, old-building, and flower prints for mine).
I also quilted some on the Spools quilt that is in the frame. I am within striking distance of being done with this one. I think a few more hours - maybe 3 or 4 focused hours of quilting - and it will be done.
I also knit a few rows on the Sand sweater, and almost finished the first of the green tweed Jaeger Dublin socks.
I really need to pick one thing and finish it. I get antsy when I'm not finishing things.
