Alwin comments that the "crappy economy" (his phrase) seems to be bringing out the scam artists. I know. I've gotten 5 or 6 of those "Greetings from Nigeria" letters where they want me to send them my bank account number so they can wire money to me. Uh-huh. And I suppose they have a nice bridge in Brooklyn to sell, too.

I forwarded some of them to the FTC (e-mail address is UCE@FTC.GOV) but I've kind of burned out on that.

The first one I ever got I gave to the local FBI dude. It gave him something to do, even if that something was just filing.
