Finished the Regia Jacquard socks last night. After that, I spent some time looking over "Knitting on the Road."
I'm trying to decide whether I want to wind off balls of the Shepard Sock yarn I bought months and months ago (some in black and some in white) and do the Huron Mountain socks (they use the same patterns as are found on loons). I also spent some time contemplating the other patterns. I think the Friday Harbor one will work for the Socka 6-fach in "Dune" (a pretty variegated white, cream, and tan color) that I've been saving for something special. And possibly the one in the "arches and ladders lace" (I don't remember what Nancy Bush called it) would work for the "Wisteria" colored Lorna's Laces I have.
I have to stop 'saving' yarn for just the right pattern.
I also found my long-lost (so long lost I had bought another) needle gauge - it was tucked in the book, along with a little 2002 calendar card and a flier from the Wooly West.
I really should finish my other ongoing projects (the Sand sweater, the Cables and Ribs socks, and the zig-zag socks) before I start something new.
