I'm about 1/3 done (lengthwise) on the shawl. It's progressing. Not as fast as I'd like. I do think I will have some of the Scintillante left over when I'm done - I bought six balls and I've not used one up yet. So I don't know what I'll do with the rest. If I have enough, I might make a pair of gloves for myself. Or I might use it as trim on a hat.

I worked on my garden yesterday. I now have two lavender plants, a rosmary, a variegated oregano, and some creeping thyme. And six regular and two paste tomatoes. And some watermelon plants that probably aren't going to make it because my soil isn't well-enough drained. I've also got petunias and zinnias in the front garden.

Soon, my pansies will die (too hot) and will have to be replaced with some other lowgrowing annual. I'm trying to think of something that will attract butterflies.

I'm also declaring today Something Good Has to Happen Day. Too much bad junk has gone on globally and on a personal scale lately. So something good has to happen for me today, and something good has to happen for everybody who reads this.
