From The Friday Five:

1. What's your favorite vacation spot? Probably my uncle's cabin on Lake Michigan. I can spend hours walking along the beach looking for interesting rocks.

2. Where do you consider to be the biggest hell-hole on earth? I don't know about hell-hole, but there are parts of western Oklahoma that are deadly dull boring to have to drive through. I wouldn't say "hell-hole", though.

3. What would be your dream vacation? About a week in a nice city - somewhere with low crime, where it's safe for a woman to be alone. I'd stay in a really nice hotel, get room service a lot (for some reason, I think of room service as the height of luxury). I'd spend every day going to museums or shopping. This would have to be a city with a lot of interesting museums. And there would have to be yarn shops and bookstores. Montreal would almost fit the bill

4. If you could go on a road-trip with anyone, who would it be and why? This is going to sound stupid, but I would pick my mom. She is about the only person I can get along with well for extended periods of time, and she and I have the same interests (so if there were a quilt shop, we would both want to stop; we would agree on the choice of restaurants, etc.)

5. What are your plans for this weekend? First, to get over this flu bug. Also, there is supposed to be a town clean-up that I am going to take part in if it doesn't rain or snow. Then, I have some work-related stuff to do.
