Progress report:
Sixteen rows of intarsia remain on the Bloomfield throw. I plan to get some of those done tonight. I've set myself a goal - I want to have this done - including blocking and fringe - by my birthday, Feb. 27. That gives me another weekend plus the limited worktime I have on a few weeknights to do it.
But I like the idea of wearing it on my birthday.
I spent last evening tying in the million and one loose ends I have generated up to this point. I still have a few to do.
I spent this afternoon in extensive cleaning. I just got fed up with the clutter and tired of being stressed out by the thought of someone calling me up and saying they were coming over in a few minutes. And the dust bunnies were growing fast. (I have hardwood floors. I also have long hair and lint-generating hobbies. So I have a dust bunny breeding facility).
I got my bedroom really really well picked up. I hadn't done that since I moved into the house in October. And my sewing room is lots better. The only room that isn't presentable is the "guest room" (right now my office until I scrape up the funds and energy to go out and buy a bed for it). I plan to get to this room sometime, but there's only so much cleaning a girl, even a fillyjonkish one, can do in a day.
