Last night was book club, so no knit progress. It's interesting, though, belonging to a book club where the membership changes slightly over time. At the beginning, we read some really intellectual and intense books ("The Killer Angels" and "Bird by Bird"). Lately, we've gone more with things available at Your Local Drugstore. (But then again, this month we did read "Interpreter of Maladies", which I really enjoyed - I am always interested in books that teach me about another culture).

next month, it's my pick, "The Wide Sargasso Sea". As much as I like having an excuse to order more books from Powell's books, I wanted for once to read a book I already owned but hadn't read.

I hope the rest of the group don't hate it.
